Take care of your mental health with some fun this summer.

When I lived in Chicago, there was always a sentiment, “We get through the winters so we can have summertime in Chicago.”

Grand Rapids is no different. As the weather warms up and leaves spring to life, the city feels like it’s warm and glowing, filled with creativity and excitement.

If you’re in your 20s or 30s, navigating life, adulting, and everything in between, you’re not alone. Sometimes, the best thing you can do for your mental health and managing stress isn’t just journaling or therapy (though we love both) — it’s connection and getting out into the world.

Luckily,  summer in Grand Rapids is overflowing with opportunities to do exactly that — through community, culture, movement, music, and fun.
